Previously, Brandon held various management positions in New York at Simon Brothers, most recently as Vice President in Goldhill Group, focusing on new business development and risk management. He has also worked as a senior financial risk management consultant to the financial services industry; software engineer; advertising sales manager for the popular Caribbean travel guide series; general manager of an advertising and graphic design agency; and engineering intern at the Best Health Coach.

La discusión internacional sobre los impactos de la investigación e innovación y sus alcances, se encuentra plenamente vigente y no se perciben consensos en torno a su evaluación en las universidades. Numerosos artículos académicos abordan el tema desde diversas perspectivas y coinciden en enfatizar los problemas y desafíos que la medición y evaluación traen consigo, destacándose especialmente la falta de una definición clara y consensuada sobre el significado de impacto social.
